Rhinoplasty are commonly conducted in Singapore with two ways: Open Rhinoplasty and Closed Rhinoplasty.

Before your rhinoplasty procedure, you will have an extensive consultation with your surgeon to share your medical history, your motivation for a rhinoplasty, and to identify your expectations for the procedure. A rhinoplasty is usually performed under mild sedation where local anaesthesia is applied directly to your nose, general anaesthesia is also available for more complicated procedures, but patients tend to prefer local anaesthesia as there are fewer side effects.
After your procedure, you will be monitored for a few hours, after which you may go home if there are no complications. However, if it was a more complicated procedure or you require further monitoring, you may be required to stay at the hospital for a couple of days. Both open and closed rhinoplasty will involve a downtown of about 1-2 weeks. You should expect some bruising, puffiness, and swelling around your face, which could take a while to subside.

Results of a rhinoplasty vary from patient to patient; it depends on the type of rhinoplasty performed, and the reason for your rhinoplasty.
